Repurpose a newsletter into social drafts

A newsletter already contains an idea worth discussing. Repurposing it means changing the reading format, not publishing the same block of text everywhere. Select one issue, identify its core claim and decide what each channel should help a reader understand.

Extract the idea, evidence and caveat

Keep a short source record with the central claim, supporting example and limitation. If the issue contains customer stories, use only details you have permission to publish. A private newsletter is not automatically a public source.

Give each channel a different job

Use LinkedIn for one argument with a professional example. Use an X thread for a short sequence in which each post adds a step. Use Threads for a concise conversational angle. A summary is a working note, not proof that the underlying source is correct.

  • LinkedIn: problem → evidence → implication.
  • X: one opening idea → distinct supporting posts → recap.
  • Threads: one observation → useful question.

Review across all drafts

Compare facts, numbers and qualifications with the original issue. Remove invented outcomes, unsupported quotations and claims about readers' results. Check that a shortened social version has not changed 'might' into 'will'.

Prepare a second issue as a repeatable workflow

Save an appropriate brand profile and project for the next source. Reuse a structure, not yesterday's claims. PostReady prepares editable text; it does not deliver newsletters or schedule social posts. Finish in the destination platform.

Illustrative newsletter note: We tried a weekly editorial checklist for two issues. It made ownership clearer to the editor. There is no reader or conversion result yet.

Illustrative draft / review

A weekly checklist gave our editor a clearer handoff. That is a workflow observation from two issues, not a conversion result. Our next check: whether the same process works when the source arrives late.

AI drafts require human review. Direct publishing and scheduling are not currently available.
