Refunds & Cancellation
How to stop renewal, request review of a charge and understand your first-purchase guarantee.

Cancel renewal in Settings or the billing portal. First subscription purchases have a 14-day refund-request window. Cancellation and refunds are separate actions, and mandatory consumer rights remain protected.
1. Cancel a subscription
To stop renewal, sign in, open Settings and use the subscription cancellation control or customer billing portal. You can also review purchases through Polar’s purchases portal. Check that cancellation is confirmed and note the access end date before leaving the portal.
Cancellation normally stops future renewal while retaining paid access until the end of the prepaid period. It does not automatically refund a previous charge. Deleting your account or no longer using PostReady does not cancel recurring billing. Cancel before the renewal date shown in your billing records.
If the portal is unavailable, email support@postready.org with the subject “Cancel Subscription”. Include your account email and subscription or order ID. Contact us before renewal wherever possible; an email request requires processing and is not an instant cancellation confirmation.
2. 14-day first-subscription guarantee
For your first PostReady subscription purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase if the product does not meet your needs. Send the request within that period; payment settlement may occur later.
Include your account email, order ID and purchase date. Feedback about what did not work is welcome but is not required to explain dissatisfaction. This commercial guarantee is separate from mandatory statutory rights and Polar’s applicable buyer terms.
The guarantee covers the first subscription purchase, rather than every renewal or standalone credit package. Suspected fraud or repeated refund abuse may be investigated, without removing rights required by law.
3. Renewals, credits and disputed charges
Renewals and standalone credit purchases are outside the first-subscription guarantee. Contact support promptly about duplicate charges, incorrect billing, unauthorized transactions, service failures or other refund grounds. Requests are assessed individually under the purchase terms, the facts and applicable law.
Unused credits do not automatically create a cash refund entitlement. Approved refunds can change access or the related credit entitlement. You will be informed of the consequences relevant to your purchase; do not assume a cancellation preserves unused allowances indefinitely.
4. Request a refund
- Email support@postready.org with the subject “Refund Request”, or use the support details on your Polar purchase receipt.
- Provide your account email, Polar order or subscription ID, purchase date and the charge you want reviewed.
- Keep the request confirmation and reply if further information is needed.
Never send full card numbers, passwords or authentication codes. A support request is not confirmation that a refund has been approved. We will communicate the decision or request further details.
5. How refunds are processed
Polar Software, Inc. is the Merchant of Record for Polar checkout purchases and processes approved refunds. Refunds are ordinarily returned through the original payment method, subject to the payment provider’s rules. The receipt and checkout identify the applicable seller and transaction terms.
Review and settlement times vary with the request, payment method, provider and bank. We cannot guarantee a fixed 24-hour response or a fixed bank settlement date. Taxes, currency conversion and any refund amount are handled according to the transaction and applicable rules; your bank may apply its own currency conversion.
For transaction terms, see Polar’s Checkout Buyer Terms. Use your receipt and portal to follow up on the status of an approved refund.
6. Consumer rights and disputes
This policy does not limit mandatory rights concerning withdrawal, defective digital services, unauthorized payments or other remedies. Any consent to immediate delivery of digital content and any effect on a statutory withdrawal right must be provided through the applicable checkout process; this page alone is not such consent.
We encourage contacting support to resolve billing problems. This does not prevent you from contacting your payment provider, consumer authority or competent court, and we do not require you to give up dispute rights.
7. Contact and updates
Product and account support: support@postready.org. Purchase records and billing management: Polar’s purchases portal. Updates appear on this page with a revised date and do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
