Your card will appear here after you create it.
Add a title and optional description, brand label, author, website label and tags. Choose a theme and image size, then create the card. Preview the result and download SVG or PNG. The website label is displayed as text; the tool does not fetch that website. PNG is exported in your browser, so fonts can vary by device. For an article or repository announcement, start with Open Graph and a short headline that explains the subject without relying on the description. Pick a square for a square composition or a story for a vertical composition. These are image dimensions, not a simulation of a platform feed. Optional labels are printed exactly as you enter them: check spelling and attribution before downloading. Changing a setting does not spend a use or update an existing result. Press Create preview card again when you want a new image. The downloaded file always belongs to the visible preview, even if you have edited the fields since creating it. If the text does not fit, shorten the named field or choose a larger layout, then try again.
Title: Building in public Theme: dark Size: Open Graph
A 1200 × 630 social preview image, downloadable as PNG or SVG.
PNG for social uploads, or editable SVG for design work. Both downloads come from the same card.
No. It uses social-preview-cli to lay out your own text with preset themes and dimensions.
Creating a card produces a downloadable image. To use it as a website link preview, upload the PNG to a publicly reachable location and configure your website’s social image metadata to point to that file. This tool does not edit your website, publish an image or inspect existing metadata. If you upload the PNG directly with a post, review the post preview before publishing because the platform may crop it. Use SVG when you need to edit the artwork in a compatible design application; check the text after opening it because fonts can vary between devices. Keep a copy of the download if you want to reuse the same image later.
